Brooke Anderson Consulting Engineers, established in 2008, specializing in the fields of Welding and Materials Engineering.

Welding Engineering describes a multi-faceted and complex range of interacting subjects and disciplines related to the joining of materials used in a diverse range of products and industries.

Design for Welding

It is important that welding and associated fabrication processes are considered at the earliest stages of the design process, particularly with regard to materials selection for weldability, inspection capability, mechanical performance and corrosion resistance.

Supplier Appraisal and Technical Bid Evaluation

Any suppliers or contractors involved with welded construction must be competent and capable, satisfying specific client requirements and standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 3834 and BS EN 1090.

Project Execution

During the procurement and construction stages of a project, we have the capability to manage the technical aspects of welded construction and can provide the following services:

Review and approval of vendors/contractor’s Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, welding procedures, heat treatment procedures, welder qualifications, NDT procedures etc.
Supervision and witness of qualification tests.
Provide surveillance inspection teams to carry out inspections during construction, including pre weld, during welding and post weld to ensure quality standards are achieved.
Witness and cross check of NDT operations.
Review of manufacturing and examination records.
Carry out quality audits.

Consultancy Services

Development of quality management systems tailored to individual client needs and to satisfy the technical requirements of standards such as BS EN ISO 3834 and BS EN 1090.
